It's said that, "All people are created equal," and that we are free, but freedom must begin in our hearts, just like love. ~Mysti
Let Freedom Ring in Your Heart By Fran Hafey/Mysti
As we, in the USA celebrate our Independence Day, we are given time to ponder on the idea of our freedom and what it truly means.
In Webster's dictionary, the definition of freedom is this:
ability to act freely: a state in which somebody is able to act and live as he or she chooses, without being subject to any, or to any undue, restraints and restrictions right to act or speak freely: the right to speak or act without restriction, interference, or fear absence of something unpleasant: the state of being unaffected by, or not subject to, something unpleasant or unwanted ease of movement: the ability to move easily without being limited by something such as tight clothing or lack of space
Today, I want to touch on "personal freedom."
We all know, that freedom in all countries, places, and with all people, is not truly enforced. In America, we are very lucky, but we are seeing everyday, more and more laws, rules and our freedom slowly taken away.
We are told these laws are to protect us...many are, but not all.
The world seems to be falling apart all around us and I for one as a Lightworker/Spiritual advocate, do not have to even watch the news to see, hear and feel the negativity going on all around me.
For myself, I choose freedom from it all, a conscious choice from my heart and Spirit.
For years, I have spoken out boldly for each person on this planet to have their own freedom. The freedom to express themselves, to feel, to be who they are and to choose their own form of Spiritual beliefs without being judged for that choice. Many people, still do not understand that concept and live in fear.
When we live in fear, we give away our freedom. We literally hand it to another.
Everyday I hear of instances where someone has been unfairly treated by the systems our own Government has put in place. I see the little people stepped on and treated as if we do not matter. I have, even myself, been falsely accused of things and the "Justice system" worked against me instead of for me.
I have heard for years, the comment "each person is innocent until proven guilty!" To me, that is a statement that our own justice systems do not uphold.
The same is true with us, and our hearts.
Do we judge others and just upon sight make a unfair assessment of them? Do we give others a chance? Do we truly have love, peace and freedom in our hearts?
I set all negative thinking free!! I don't have room for it in my life. I choose to release unnecessary worry and fear and I work at not assuming.
For my independence day, I let freedom ring in my heart, loud and clear for others to hear and feel it. I choose to share love, light, peace and freedom from judgment in my life. I strive to live each day, free in my own spirit, when I cannot always control everything that happens around me. I have the freedom and right to say "NO" to what I see happening around me in this world and to work harder to help change it.
It's sad and a shame, but for me, I choose to let freedom ring in my heart this day and everyday. I am happy and blessed, I can choose. I try not to take anything for granted. I live in the moment.
Please have a wonderful, safe and free Independence Day, whenever and wherever you choose to celebrate it!!
